Our latest outfit of the day all comes from Amazon.
I love it when I find a look that is both size-inclusive and affordable.
This black dress fits me beautifully and gives me the “new look” silhouette that I absolutely love. The fabric is soft and has stretch. It is size inclusive, going up to a 4xl. The size chart is accurate in the photo gallery. Not only that, but the price is right at $32.99. Get your own on Amazon.
The rest of the look also comes from Amazon. Click on these links to buy the petticoat, belt and beret.
Our next outfit of the day also comes from Torrid and their Betsey Johnson collection. In addition, it will make a great Valentine’s Day look.
I absolutely love this skirt! It is so comfortable and cute. I really love how it can be dressed up or down. So far, I’ve loved pairing it with t-shirts and moto jackets, but you can easily add a more formal blouse or sweater set for a more upscale look.
Get your own skirt from Torrid. My Avengers t-shirt is also from Torrid. The pink t-shirt is from Amazon. Pink moto jacket is from Eloquii. White sneakers from Fila. Leopard sneakers are from Converse. My new tricycle is from Ebay. Bowler hat is from Amazon. Click on all the links to buy.
Our latest outfit of the day is from Hot Topic and Spirit Halloween.
While working from home during COVID lock-down, I have been shopping my closet a bit and putting together new looks.
I got this NASA jacket from Spirit Halloween a couple of years ago, and I still wear it constantly! This year I added the space helmet for some fun and put it with this wonderful velvet dress from Hot Topic. The boots are from Dr. Martens.
Our next outfit of the day also comes from Amazon. I put together another black and pink look completely that will be fantastic for Valentine’s Day.
This dress is a steal at $26.99! The dress is also size-inclusive. I dressed mine up with retro accessories for a photo shoot in Palm Springs, but you can change things up and make it more of a goth look or a casual look by changing accessories.
Our latest outfit of the day is inspired by “WandaVision”, which starts streaming tomorrow on Disney+. I cannot be more excited for this show! We’ve waited almost two years for new Marvel content, and the time has finally come.
I took my inspiration from Wanda’s uniform colors or red and black and gave them a 50’s bend with a “new look” silhouette.
Once I got the color story together with the look itself, I added brooches to accessorize.
But, not just any brooches, I added witch-themed brooches to tie the whole look together. I also threw in a couple of 50’s themed pins for fun.
My Halloween tree is from Michael’s. Click on the link to buy. Decorations are all from Dollar Tree. I spent $25 dollars on decorations total, and they look amazing!
I hope that these Halloween-themed outfits have inspired you to get ready for the spooky fun season, pandemic or not!
Send me some pictures of your outfits for Halloween! I love to hear from you guys!
As always, if you want to buy the “In Plain Sight” book, click the link on the home page or click here.
Our latest outfit of the day is to help you get ready for the spooky season.
This skirt from Torrid features the classic movie monsters of Universal Studios. I love how companies have been re-embracing the classics when it comes to Halloween. I grew up watching these movies on “Sci Fi Theatre” back in Arkansas in the olden times, and I absolutely love them.
The skirt is made from scuba, so it holds it shape nicely while being stretchy and comfy. The sweatshirt is from Target. I absolutely love the puffy sleeves on this shirt. It gives this very casual shirt a very fancy feel to it. Click on the links to buy.
Just as an fyi, Unique Vintage also has classic movie monster wear for this Halloween.
Our next outfit of the day, or outfits of the day, come from Rosegal.com.
Rosegal (and DressLily) have tons of inexpensive options for standard and plus sizes. It is a great place to shop for seasonal outfits, including these cute dresses I found.
Both sites run very, VERY small. So, please check the sizing with your body measurements and not what size you usually wear. Example is that both of these dresses I got in a 5xl. I usually wear a 2xl or 3xl, depending on the brand.
In addition to the small sizing, a lot of the waistlines tend toward a more empire waist, just as an fyi. Both of these dresses fell on my natural waist, so that was also a pleasant surprise.
It takes a couple of weeks for orders to arrive, so I’d go ahead and get your shop on for Halloween now!
This front-knot style dress and shirts have been spotted everywhere lately! In addition to being on-trend, this dress is a comfy t-shirt dress that can be dressed up and down, depending on the function you are wearing it to.
I also love the color! However, if you don’t like the color, it is available in 12 different colors!
OK, here we are with our first outfit of the day post-quarantine.
Well, I’m still working from home and will be for a while, but I am starting to go out for quick trips to Target, etc.
So, for when we all have somewhere nice to go again, here is this beautiful dress from Disney Dress Shop:
The artwork on this is just stunning. The fit is the same as most dresses from Disney Dress Shop, fantastic!
Even though it is difficult to shop Disney Dress Shop in person, you can still buy them online. Here is the link to the Ink & Paint dress.
Petticoat and shoes, from Amazon. Bag from Target. Ears are from a 7-11 in Anaheim (seriously!). Faux pearls from Claire’s ages ago. Click on links to buy.
