Outfit of the Day: Marvel Comic Print Skirt

For our latest outfit of the day, we have a cute, comfy Marvel comic book print skirt by Her Universe.

This skirt is a made from stretchy scuba fabric that keeps its shape and is super comfy. Also, pockets!

I paired the skirt with this cute puffy sleeved shirt from Target. Click on links to buy.

My shield is the new Marvel Legends “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” shield by Hasbro. Like all other Marvel Legends products, it is entirely screen accurate and of great quality. It is super sturdy.

Happy shopping!

Outfit of the Day: Black Widow Jacket

To go along with my trip to Downtown Disney in my Disney Dress Shop Black Widow dress, I am sporting my Black Widow leather jacket from Hot Topic.

This jacket is size-inclusive, going up to a 5xl. I’m wearing a 4xl. It is a little roomy on me, but I like my jackets to fit a little bit bigger. I have big shoulders and I get more flexible movement if I go a size up.

I love all the pockets and the widow logo on the back. My belt is from Torrid. I added a widow belt buckle from Etsy. Leggings, boots and tee from Lane Bryant. Click on links to shop.

It is about time that Natasha got her own fashions!

Now, if we could finally see the movie…

Until next time…

xoxo

Outfit of the Day: WandaVision Bound

Our latest outfit of the day is inspired by “WandaVision”, which starts streaming tomorrow on Disney+. I cannot be more excited for this show! We’ve waited almost two years for new Marvel content, and the time has finally come.

I took my inspiration from Wanda’s uniform colors or red and black and gave them a 50’s bend with a “new look” silhouette.

Once I got the color story together with the look itself, I added brooches to accessorize.

But, not just any brooches, I added witch-themed brooches to tie the whole look together. I also threw in a couple of 50’s themed pins for fun.

The dress is from Amazon. The belt, petticoat and beret are also from Amazon. Pins are all from Wish. Purse is vintage.

Happy shopping and viewing!

xoxo

Outfit of the Day: Cold Shoulder Avengers Dress from Torrid

While I continue my recovery from knee replacement, I wanted to keep putting up some inspirational outfits of the day.

The latest is a cute comfy cold shoulder Avengers dress from Torrid.

I paired this with a corset belt, also from Torrid and Fila sneakers.

The weather has turned colder, but this dress will still be a great choice when paired with leggings and a pair of tall boots.

Click on this link to go to Torrid, and here for the sneakers. Happy shopping!

Wardrobe Solution: Loungefly Bags

I recently treated myself to a new Loungefly bag.

Get your own Cap backpack here.

Loungefly continues to create amazing, well-made bags in a variety of fandoms.  The small backpacks are my favorite for adventuring out.  They hold all your gear for the day without being too heavy.  Because they are on your back, they free your hands up as well.

My other favorites are the cosplay style cross-body bag.  These are perfect for everyday and again, available in a variety of fandoms.

Click here for the Loungefly site.

Outfit of the Day: Loki Dress from Her Universe

Our latest outfit of the day is the Loki pin-up dress by Her Universe for The Disney Dress Shop.

faceapp_1579566826256

I love this dress so much for so many reasons, but the stand-out reason is the detailing on the dress itself.

faceapp_1579566196861

The basket weave pattern at the waistline nips in my waist perfectly, without sacrificing any comfort.  The detailing on the skirt is so beautiful.  It is the perfect Loki bound dress.

faceapp_1579565926102

Like all Disney Dress Shop dresses, I love the fit!  It is a very fancy looking dress, but as comfortable as a t-shirt.  And…pockets!

New Dapper Bound: Captain America Stealth Dress

We got to go to our second Dapper Day at Disneyland recently.  We spent a day in the parks and a day at the Dapper Day Expo.  For our parks day, I wore my new Captain America Stealth dress to both parks.

Dress is from Grace Karin on AmazonBelt is from Amazon.  Foam shield from Disneyland park.  Shoes are my DIY saddle shoes, which you can get instructions to make your own here.  For DIY for the star and bars for the dress, click here.

Cap himself said that he had never worn that uniform so well, so he liked it!

Spidey also loved it, and asked if he could “borrow” my shield.

Captain Marvel also loved the look and really liked the idea of comfy saddle shoes!  I also crossed universes and went to Batuu!

Please enjoy the pics and send us pics from your Dapper Day.  We love to hear from you!

Until next time…

New Dapper Bound: Captain America Stealth Suit Dress- DIY Instructions

For my latest cosplay, I put together a look for Dapper Day of my favorite Captain America suit, the stealth suit.

The dress is pretty easy to put together.  I found some iron-on transfer paper at a craft store.  With that, a star-shaped cookie cutter and a straight edge, I was able to create the stealth dress.

When choosing your star, make sure you choose one that is good scale to your body.  Then you will need three stripes on each side, again, keep an eye on the scale.  The stripes end at the arms at a 90 degree angle, but are diagonally cut to fit close to the star.  The lengths also vary, with two shorter stripes on the top and bottom and the longest in the middle.

Here are some reference pictures for you:

Here is a shopping guide for the look:

Belt from amazon.com

Happy shopping and crafting!

Outfit of the Day: Captain Marvel Leggings

Our next outfit of the day is my new pair of Captain Marvel leggings from Etsy.

20190913_115504I love these so much!  They are screen accurate, nice thick spandex that passes the bend-over test and has a nice bright print printed on them.

20190910_154216My only complaint is that they are a little short-waisted.  I wish that I could hoist them up a smidge higher.  They would stay in place a bit better.

20190910_154305These are size-inclusive, going up to a 5xl.

20190910_154241My shirt is from Lane Bryant, my boots from Amazon and necklace from Hot Topic.  Barbie from Target.
