To go along with my trip to Downtown Disney in my Disney Dress Shop Black Widow dress, I am sporting my Black Widow leather jacket from Hot Topic.
This jacket is size-inclusive, going up to a 5xl. I’m wearing a 4xl. It is a little roomy on me, but I like my jackets to fit a little bit bigger. I have big shoulders and I get more flexible movement if I go a size up.
I love all the pockets and the widow logo on the back. My belt is from Torrid. I added a widow belt buckle from Etsy. Leggings, boots and tee from Lane Bryant. Click on links to shop.
It is about time that Natasha got her own fashions!
Our latest outfit of the day is the Loki pin-up dress by Her Universe for The Disney Dress Shop.
I love this dress so much for so many reasons, but the stand-out reason is the detailing on the dress itself.
The basket weave pattern at the waistline nips in my waist perfectly, without sacrificing any comfort. The detailing on the skirt is so beautiful. It is the perfect Loki bound dress.
Like all Disney Dress Shop dresses, I love the fit! It is a very fancy looking dress, but as comfortable as a t-shirt. And…pockets!
The kiddo and I recently hosted our very first (first of many, I hope) couture meet-up at The Federal in North Hollywood.
We had a great time! I was recently inspired by the Lolita tea houses all over the world where Lolitas can meet up with each other in their favorite looks and hang out, inspire each other, take fun pictures, etc.
I wanted to widen the scope of the invite to include all kinds of geekery, so we put in the invite that there were no dress-code rules; wear whatever you want. As you can see, we had some great looks sported by some awesome ladies:
I chose to wear my new Black Widow dapper look.
Let’s break it down with the Team Build Checklist. Click on the link to print your own.
I recently had some extra fun money to spend, and spend I did on a new screen accurate Captain Marvel cosplay. SIM Cosplay made it for me, and I love it!
Well, I mean, who hasn’t yet? I will warn you that there are tons ‘o spoilers here, but it has been over a week since the movie’s release, so the spoiler-free zone is over!
As always, here are some of our favorite moments from the film. We aren’t movie reviewers, and we aren’t going to start trying to be one now!
So we are in the Endgame now…
The addition of Captain Marvel to the Avengers is amazing!
All of the remaining Avengers going to space
Nebula is the MVP for most of the film
Korg and Meek are OK!!!
Hulk with glasses and dad wardrobe is the best thing ever!
Time Travel!
Chunky Thor has been problematic for some, and I can understand why. However, I liked that we saw how the five years had really affected him in a visual way. It is also important to note that he was taken back on the team “as is”. No magic weight loss or anything of the sort. He is valuable at whatever size he is
When Nebula isn’t the MVP, the rat that released Ant Man is
Carol got my haircut
Now I have to SA cosplay Carol
Everything Rocket
Cap is worthy, but we already knew that
I think Loki is alive, fight me!
America’s ass
The convo between Tony and Howard
Girl squad moment
“Hey there, Peter Parker. You got something for me there?” #iheartcarol
Cap finally got his dance
Captain Sam!
OK, those are just some of our favorite moments. Please let us know yours in the comments.
While I wait for everyone to see “Avengers Endgame” this week, I thought I would highlight some great new products available at Ulta, in stores and online.
They released a great make-up line inspired by “Avengers Endgame” with an eyeshadow pallet, four lip glosses, four matte lipsticks and three make-up bags.
I got two of the make-up bags and love them! I got the smallest one for my purse and the medium sized one for travel.
I didn’t have an opportunity to try the eye shadows or the lip glosses, but the good word is that they are both great.
I did get two shades of matte lipsticks. Both have a nice feel, good amount of pigment and aren’t drying. I tried them both, and they lasted all day.
This week is the opening of “Avengers: Endgame”, so we thought we would post some of our favorite Marvel cosplays with shopping links this week! See ya at the movies!
In this case, the team leader and brick are both the dress. In other cases, a Captain Marvel necklace might be needed, but the dress includes the star on her chest.
The purse I got is from Wish. I do recommend Wish for handbags and other accessories, but I do not recommend them for clothing or make-up. The clothing sizing is sketchy as best (runs beyond tiny) and the make-up is usually knock-offs of name brands. Because of that, you can’t depend on the ingredient lists on the packaging. But, if you want a purse for yourself, click this link.
The Blaster- Hair and Make-up
This cosplay didn’t require a wig or any super special make-up. For pin-up, a nice red lip is a great finishing touch. I wear “Love Is On” by Revlon. Get yours here.
Adaptations for Everyday Wear
This one is pretty simple to adapt to everyday wear. I’d lose the petticoat and that’s pretty much all you need to do to take this look to the office or out and about.
As always, professional pictures by Justin Davidson Photography. Book him here. You’ll be glad you did!
I found this fantastic arc reactor online at Etsy. Get your own here. It runs on 3, AAA batteries for hours and hours. I wore it all day at WonderCon (about 7 hours) and the batteries were still going. It didn’t get hot to the touch or even warm, and it is super lightweight. The artist provides a sticky pad to adhere it to your clothes, but I utilized the loop to make a necklace out of it. It didn’t show up in most pictures, but it is super bright.
The Brick- Dress from Amazon
I cannot recommend this dress from Amazon highly enough. It comes in a gazillion colors and it really and truly size inclusive, going up to 4xl. I am wearing a 4xl in these pictures. I apologize for the wrinkled look. The iron in my hotel room was pretty sad and didn’t do a good job at all getting it pressed for me after unpacking it. Get your own dress by clicking this link.

Adaptations for Everyday Wear
This one is pretty simple to adapt to everyday wear. Lose the arc reactor and put on an arc reactor pendant instead. Click this link for a cute one. I’d also lose the petticoat and that’s pretty much all you need to do to take this look to the office or out and about.
