Benji had three weeks off for the holidays, and that last week, the poor kid was stuck in the house while I was at work during the day. So, I asked for a couple days off, and we put our annual passes to good use.
While Disney is building the Avenger’s Campus over at Disney California Adventure, we decided to concentrate our time in Disneyland park, specifically, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.
I wore my new skirt from Her Universe featuring BB8 and D-O. I paired it with Doc Martens and a gray tee. I finished the look with a leather jacket from Torrid and my Millenium Falcon necklace from Amazon. Then I found a great scarf/hood combo at the park and snagged it. It is very Kylo Ren-inspired. Inspired enough, that I got detained by Kylo himself. I was eventually released with a stern warning.
For our pictures, I bought a kid’s lightsaber. They are very reasonably priced at $32 and the blade is colored, which makes it great for pictures day or night. They also have a shorter blade and are much lighter, which again, makes it great for pictures and for carrying it around the park all day.
Benji tried on this jacket and immediately feel in love with it. He also really liked this staff. Needless to say, we went a little nuts in the market place in Batuu! Totally worth it!

For our latest outfit of the day, we are featuring our Patriotic Cardigans from Elhoffer Design.
This cardigan has a vintage cropped cut that is universally flattering.
The sweater is super soft and comfy. A perfect choice for bounding either Captain America or Wonder Woman.
I’ve paired mine with my Cap leggings from Gold Bubble Clothing. Scout paired hers with black leggings, and we both wore black t-shirts. My trusty tall boots are from Lane Bryant, and Scout’s silver sneakers are from Target. We both wore a red chiffon scarf to give it a vintage style. The scarves are from Amazon.
Get your own cardi at Elhoffer Design. As always with Elhoffer, these are size inclusive. Women’s sizing, not Juniors, XS-3XL, but supplies are limited, so grab yours while they are in stock!

Fantastic article about getting started in cosplay!
So after much debating and soul searching you’ve decided to finally do it. You’ve decided it’s time to make that big step into the great world of cosplay (congrats btw). This of course opens up a whole new world of fun experiences at whatever con you are planning on attending, however, it can also be a little overwhelming. A couple of years ago I finally pulled the trigger on a cosplay idea I had been kicking around for years and I am so glad I did. It is a blast. If you’re curious about what I dress up as it is a Star Wars spoof. Everyone knows Boba Fett, the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy, but do you know his redneck cousin, Bubba Fett (the most feared redneck in the galaxy)? Bubba repairs moisture vaporators on Tatooine and is a pretty easy going fellow as long as he…

Our trip of a lifetime wrapped up with a voyage on the London Eye, stopping by to hear Big Ben and a trip to Harrods.
The London Eye offers breathtaking views of the whole city. It was a bit drizzly, like London can be, on New Year’s Eve, but we had a great time taking it all in.
We took in Harrods and tried on some ridiculously expensive fur h
Then I got to finally buy a real Harrods bag of my very own! A lifelong dream of this fashion obsessed girl.
Then we stopped in Picadilly Circus to see the sights:
We wrapped up our trip by going to the Victoria and Albert Museum and stopping by Big Ben:
We had such an amazing time in London. It was truly the trip of a lifetime. Thank you for letting us share the experience with you.
Until next time…
