While I continue my recovery from knee replacement, I wanted to keep putting up some inspirational outfits of the day.
The latest is a cute comfy cold shoulder Avengers dress from Torrid.
I paired this with a corset belt, also from Torrid and Fila sneakers.
The weather has turned colder, but this dress will still be a great choice when paired with leggings and a pair of tall boots.
Click on this link to go to Torrid, and here for the sneakers. Happy shopping!
I know, I know. I was done with the Halloween dress posts, but then I saw on Amazon this cute dress from Rosegal and could get it quickly, so I pounced!
As usual with Rosegal, they run small, and this dress is no exception. However, the fit is good and the dress is cute and comfy!
Get your own here. My witch hat is also from Amazon. Belt is from Torrid. Click on the links to buy.
Until next time…
Our latest outfit of the day is from the Disney Dress Shop.
This dress fits like the Captain Marvel dress from Disney Dress Shop, for reference.
The look of this is great! Like all other Disney Dress Shop dresses, this one can go to the theme park, on a date or to work. All you have to do is adjust the accessories a bit.
sweater is from Amazon, as is the bag and shoes. The bandana headband is from Five Below. Click on links to buy.

Our latest outfit of the day is to help you get ready for the spooky season.
This skirt from Torrid features the classic movie monsters of Universal Studios. I love how companies have been re-embracing the classics when it comes to Halloween. I grew up watching these movies on “Sci Fi Theatre” back in Arkansas in the olden times, and I absolutely love them.
The skirt is made from scuba, so it holds it shape nicely while being stretchy and comfy.
The sweatshirt is from Target. I absolutely love the puffy sleeves on this shirt. It gives this very casual shirt a very fancy feel to it. Click on the links to buy.
Just as an fyi,
Unique Vintage also has classic movie monster wear for this Halloween.
Our next outfit of the day, or outfits of the day, come from Rosegal.com.
Rosegal (and DressLily) have tons of inexpensive options for standard and plus sizes. It is a great place to shop for seasonal outfits, including these cute dresses I found.
First up is this
hi-low celestial dress. The front is very short, so I would advise wearing leggings with it. I paired it with a cute vintage-inspired cardi from Amazon. Click on the links to buy.
Both sites run very, VERY small. So, please check the sizing with your body measurements and not what size you usually wear. Example is that both of these dresses I got in a 5xl. I usually wear a 2xl or 3xl, depending on the brand.
This next dress is so adorable, I will be wearing it almost daily until Halloween. The print is just so darn cute!
Click on this link to buy. I also paired this one with the same cardi from Amazon, but in a pumpkin color. Belt is from Torrid.
In addition to the small sizing, a lot of the waistlines tend toward a more empire waist, just as an fyi. Both of these dresses fell on my natural waist, so that was also a pleasant surprise.
It takes a couple of weeks for orders to arrive, so I’d go ahead and get your shop on for Halloween now!
Our next outfit of the day comes from Walmart.
This front-knot style dress and shirts have been spotted everywhere lately! In addition to being on-trend, this dress is a comfy t-shirt dress that can be dressed up and down, depending on the function you are wearing it to.
I also love the color! However, if you don’t like the color, it is available in 12 different colors!

dress here. I paired it with a hat from Target, pentagram necklace from the Ren Faire ( buy a similar one here), shades from Five Below and boots from Lane Bryant.
I wore this all summer with sandals and cute straw hats, but as you can see here, I’m getting you ready for Halloween!
OK, here we are with our first outfit of the day post-quarantine.
Well, I’m still working from home and will be for a while, but I am starting to go out for quick trips to Target, etc.
So, for when we all have somewhere nice to go again, here is this beautiful dress from Disney Dress Shop:
The artwork on this is just stunning. The fit is the same as most dresses from Disney Dress Shop, fantastic!
Even though it is difficult to shop Disney Dress Shop in person, you can still buy them online. Here is the link to
the Ink & Paint dress.
Petticoat and shoes, from Amazon. Bag from Target. Ears are from a 7-11 in Anaheim (seriously!). Faux pearls from Claire’s ages ago. Click on links to buy.
Our latest outfit of the day is the Aristocats pin-up dress by The Disney Dress Shop.
I love the style of this dress so much!
The color of the dress is my favorite part. I just love that the designer embraced the pink and ran with it. The detailing on the skirt is also so beautiful.
Like all Disney Dress Shop dresses, I love the fit! It is a very fancy looking dress, but as comfortable as a t-shirt. And…pockets! I also love that they added sleeves to this one. I hope they continue this trend with the new dresses.
Pick up your own dress here. The blue acrylic bag and shoes are from Amazon. Sunglasses are a lucky find at the dollar store. Click links to purchase.

Our latest outfit of the day is the Loki pin-up dress by Her Universe for The Disney Dress Shop.
I love this dress so much for so many reasons, but the stand-out reason is the detailing on the dress itself.
The basket weave pattern at the waistline nips in my waist perfectly, without sacrificing any comfort. The detailing on the skirt is so beautiful. It is the perfect Loki bound dress.
Like all Disney Dress Shop dresses, I love the fit! It is a very fancy looking dress, but as comfortable as a t-shirt. And…pockets!
Pick up your own dress here. The tesseract prop was a DIY. Click here to make your own. The horn headband, necklace, blue acrylic bag and shoes are all from Amazon. Sunglasses are a lucky find at the dollar store. Click links to purchase.
