OK, like Banner in Sakaar, I’M FREAKING OUT!!!
What an intense experience! 10 years in and now it all came down to this movie. This movie delivered on so many levels. It really was sublime in how it got us ready for “Avengers: Endgame”. That is the official title now.
As per usual, I am not going to try to review the movie. My viewpoint is far from balanced on this one, and I’m not a movie reviewer by any stretch.
However, I am some thoughts, feels and memes to share. So, let’s get to it!
- Where’s Korg and Meek? I’m worried
- I knew Loki was toast, but I’m still extremely upset to lose our God of Mischief
- Heimdaal, same, knew he was toast, but I thought he had the soul stone, so I was super-duper wrong
- I love that we finally got to see Stark and Strange together. Their egos can fit in a room together, which surprised me
- Yay, Wong was in this!
- Yay, Ned was in this!
- I love Spiderman more and more with Tom Holland playing him so masterfully
- Stan Lee cameo was LIT!
- I hope the Cloak of Levitation got its own trailer this time. It deserves one
- Love that we got a new Guardians song to add to our Marvel playlists! “Rubberband Man” by The Spinners, btw
- Teenage Groot is hilarious
- “Quill, you’re a dude. This is a man.”
- A pirate angel
- Rabbit
- Rocket telling Groot to, “Tinkle”
- Dinklage!
- Stormbreaker is amazeballs
- I love how the women in this movie are vital!
- Oh man, not Gamora tho!!!
- Scarlet Witch really gets to show her stuff in this film, which I’m super OK with
- Stark also not getting along with Star Lord, as expected. Good thing Titan is so large cause that’s three huge egos now!
- So glad Rhodey is back on the team!
- Glad to see more Banner and less Hulk (sorry Hulk, but I prefer the cute one)
- Shuri trolling Banner
- Rocket and Bucky fighting together. Rocket will get that arm
- Star Lord hopping on the spells that Doctor Strange laid out for him. Jumping through a portal and flipping off Thanos. Nice.
- Cap’s beard. All day long
