A Visit to Avengers Campus!

Well, I did it. I finally got to Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure. After a year’s delay due to COVID, the Campus is up and running!

A few things to note before you go. You have to have a ticket to DCA and a reservation for DCA for the day you want to go. Next, getting onto the Campus will take a few hours. There is a stand-by line, but you will get in. If you get a boarding pass for the Web Slingers ride (you get that online if you are lucky at 7 am and again at noon), you can by-pass the line, but getting a boarding pass is tricky.

Now, once you get there, it is simply amazing! It was everything I hoped it would be.

The Avengers are walking around regularly doing meet and greets (socially distant for now). There are regular battles going on at the Avengers main building.

You can also find the Guardians of the Galaxy having a dance-off party to save the Universe in front of Mission Breakout.

Bill the boyfriend and I had such an amazing time! On top of everything, the food at the Pym Test Kitchen is all amazing as well!

Until next time…

Outfit of the Day: Tony Stark Dapper

I recently saw a ton of people with EDITH (Even Dead, I’m the Hero) glasses on TikTok. I got a little jealous, and ordered my own off Amazon. Once I got them in, I just had to style an outfit around them.

I shopped my closet and came up with a new Tony Stark Dapper look that would be great for a con or a theme park.

The dress I got from Amazon. I love this dress. It was inexpensive and it has a nice stretch and came in a ton of colors. So, you KNOW I got every color in my size. I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth out of them for sure! Petticoat is from Amazon.

The glove and arc reactor are cosplay props that I already had, but you can get your own from Amazon and from Etsy. Sneakers from Amazon. Just click on the links.

Happy Shopping!

Cosplay: New Scarlet Witch Suit!

It has been a long time since I built a new screen-accurate cosplay, but I finally got inspired to do it!

I absolutely loved Wanda’s new suit at the end of WandaVision, and when Her Universe came out with the everyday cosplay version of it, I decided to kick that up a notch and make a screen-accurate cosplay.

Starting with the wig and tiara. The wig is from Amazon and it is perfect! Click on the link to buy. The tiara is from a friend, but I found a similar one on Amazon that looks great!

The leggings, top and cape are all from Hot Topic by Her Universe. The boots are from Amazon.

I think it turned out great! Now I just need a con to wear it to…

Scarlet Witch Dress by Kawaii Dress Shop

Our latest outfit of the day comes from one of my favorite Etsy stores, Kawaii Dress Shop.

They make fantastic cosplay dresses that look great, that are super comfy and that can be worn pretty much anywhere.

Click on the link above to buy. I paired it with a Scarlet Witch necklace also from Etsy. I put a crop tee under it to create sleeves. I then finished the look with fishnet tights from Snag and creepers from Amazon.

Recently, this shop has added pockets to their dresses, which is great and their spandex is super stretchy and passes the stretch see-thru test.

Happy Shopping!

Avengers Campus Preview

At the time I wrote this, I have a week until my trip to Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure, so I wanted to preview my new outfit.

This campus bound was really easy to put together, and to make it even easier, all the pieces (with the exception of the ears) are from Amazon! Click on the links to buy.

I started with the skirt. I wanted to make a poodle-type skirt, but with an Avengers twist. So, I found patches for each of the original Avengers and applied them in place of the poodle.

I paired the skirt with my go-to petticoat and belt.

I added a tank and cropped cardigan and my trusty Chuck Taylors. My pin was from Miniso, but unfortunately it is no longer available, so I found you one on Amazon. My ears are from Etsy and the Loungefly is a classic style, but I found a similar one on Amazon.

Happy Shopping!

Trip to Avengers Campus coming soon…

Outfit of the Day: Bucky Barnes

For our latest outfit of the day, I have a great outfit I put together celebrating Bucky Barnes.

The tee is from Amazon and comes in both men’s and women’s cuts. They had plus sizes in women’s, so I didn’t have to get a men’s tee and alter it. Always a plus!

The skirt was on sale at Hot Topic, so I snatched it right up. I love the length on it. It is a skater skirt, but not too short.

I paired it with an arm warmer from Amazon for Bucky’s vibranium arm. Then I finished it with my tall boots from Forever 21 that I absolutely love.

Click on links to buy. Happy Shopping!
