Outfit of the Day: Red Room Tee

Our latest outfit of the day comes from Amazon. They have a new monthly Marvel t-shirt subscription that at 20 bucks a month, I couldn’t resist.

On top of that, the shirts come in a wide variety of men’s and women’s sizes, so no tee surgery required! So, huge thumbs up to whoever had this idea.

The first tee is from the upcoming (finally) “Black Widow” movie. It features the Red Room where Natasha was trained.

I paired this tee with a skirt I got on clearance at Hot Topic. I mean, a plaid skirt that is both stretchy and not way too short? Yes, please! I paired the look with my tall boots from Forever 21 to complete the look.

Outfit of the Day: Marvel Rockabilly Look

For our latest outfit of the day, I had a great t-shirt that I got at Target, but wanted to do something fun and new with it.

You guys have probably noticed that Target has some really amazing tees, but they are only available in bigger sizes in the Men’s Department. So, tee surgery is needed to make them look good on a woman’s body.

I decided to do the usual tee surgery of removing the neck from the tee. After that, I thought about pairing it with some items to create a rockabilly look with it.

I took a pencil skirt from Forever 21, retro stretch belt from Amazon and a bandana headband from Five Below. That with my trusty Converse slip ons. Lipstick in “Darcy” from our store.

A Day at Touch of Disney

Recently, boyfriend Bill and I got to go to Disney’s California Adventure for their Touch of Disney event.

This was the perfect opportunity to wear my Captain America dress by Her Universe for Disney Dress Shop!

Because of COVID, this poor dress has been waiting patiently in my closet for almost a year to go out and strut.

It was totally worth the wait! As always, this dress is made well, looks great and is super comfy.

I paired it with my slip on Chuck Taylor’s by Converse and an Amazon petticoat. Lipstick is our very own in the “Darcy” shade in the store.

We had an amazing day! Now that the parks are all about to open, I’m looking forward to sharing new and original builds for Galaxy’s Edge and Avenger’s Campus, so stay tuned.

Outfit of the Day: Marvel Print Dress from Torrid

Our latest outfit of the day comes from Torrid.

It is a cute Marvel comic print dress in the 50’s shirt dress or house dress style.

It is a nice stetchy fabric and comes with a cute red belt. However, it was a little high-waisted on me, so I paired the dress with my own belt from Amazon so it would sit lower on my actual waist.

I love how you can pick any color accessories you want to style this dress. You can be inspired by your favorite character or whatever mood you are in that day.

I also love how it is easily a casual dress or a very dressy dress, depending on the accessories.

Outfit of the Day: WandaVision Tee and Agatha Pin

For our latest outfit of the day, I purchased a cute WandaVision tee by Her Universe, but I had to think a bit to decide how to style it.

First, it has a very 50’s atomic age graphic on it, but pairing it with a circle skirt just didn’t seem quite right to me.

So, I thought, “How would Wanda style this?” and then I knew. Let’s go 80’s goth with it!

So, I put on the tee by Her Universe for Hot Topic and paired it with a velvet skater skirt from Hot Topic. I put on some fishnets from Snag and my Doc Martens with it.

We had a little cold weather left over from winter here, so I put on my Wanda cosplay jacket. To finish up the look, I put on the InPlainSight.style Store’s Agatha pin. Click on links to shop!

I think I might also work on a rockabilly look for this tee. I really love it. The design is just so good!

Until next time…

Outfit of the Day: Godzilla Graphic Tee

Our latest outfit of the day celebrates the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, and his new film, “Godzilla v. Kong”.

Obviously, we are 100% team ‘Zilla over here, but we do love Kong as well. I just hope those boys learn to get along already 🙂

Enough about that, on to the fashion!

I paired my favorite Goldzilla tee (from Torrid about a decade ago) with this cute velvet skirt from Hot Topic. I added a hot pink stretch belt from Amazon and knotted the tee to define my waist.

Then I paired this with some Snag tights in opaque black and my favorite tall boots from Forever 21.

You can create this look with any of your favorite graphic tees. It can be a nice change from the usual tee and jeans or leggings look.

New Liquid Lipsticks!

I’m proud and pleased to launch the first two products in my cosmetics line.

I have two beautiful liquid lipsticks. One in a classic red. I named the shade, “Darcy”.

The other is a bubblegum pink. The shade assigned by the manufacturer, MS Make-up, is number 13, so I named this shade “Agent 13”.

Both lipsticks are a velvety liquid formula, with a matte finish. Both are mask-proof and transfer-proof. They aren’t drying or sticky. I have been road-testing them for a while, and they are fantastic.

These essential shades go well with any bounding or cosplay builds.

If you guys like them, I’ll offer more shades in the future. Click here to buy.

I have a special bundle of both shades as well.

Happy shopping!

Fashion Alert- WandaVision Make-up from Ulta

WandaVision the series might be done, but not the fantastic products!

I’ve got lots of Wanda goodies coming up, the first of which is a new make-up line from Ulta.

There are a pile of goodies to choose from. I chose the brush set, make-up bag and eyeshadow palettes.

The Brush Set

These brushes are fantastic! Besides being very lush and gorgeous to look at, they are great brushes. I especially love the flat-ended highlighter brush. Made my highlighter go on perfectly. The case comes with the set and it is a great size to tuck into your bag for on-the-go touch-ups.

The Make-Up Bag

I absolutely love this make-up bag! Pretty much my favorite from the collection. It is a perfect size to pack your stuff for a trip. The Wanda logo is beautiful, and I’m in love with the color.

The Eyeshadow Palettes

Lastly, I got the eyeshadow palettes from the “vault”. There is a small palette for the 50’s and 60’s, the 70’s and the 80’s and 90’s. The colors are super pigmented and great to mix and match to create your own look. There was a little fall-out in the pan and on my face, so put down some powder for that. Other than that, for $20, you can’t go wrong with them. The colors are really nice and wearable for day and/or night.

Buy your own pieces from Ulta here. Happy shopping!
