For our first recap of the craziness that is SDCC, we are covering our panel, “Cosplaying With Your Kids” that took place on Friday.
We covered several topics relating to cosplaying with your kids including sources, theming your cosplays to your group, social media guidelines for parents and kids and how the older kids in the group deal with bullying.
For cosplay sources and types of cosplay, please feel free to click on the links to revisit those posts. For social media guidelines, also please click on that link to revisit that post. These posts cover the topics discussed at the panel.
We were so excited to welcome Coulson and Kids (and Mom!) to our panel. We hope to have another panel with them again at another con. Maybe WonderCon next year? Here’s hoping! Coulson and Kids are three generations of cosplayers in the same family that cosplay together. They serve as an inspiration to all of us that cosplay knows no age limit. You can all jump in at any time in your life to enjoy this wonderful community of nerds!
We would love to thank RavenPuff Cosplay and Little Negan Cosplay for joining us again for our panel. We always love the enthusiasm they bring to the table.
We hope you enjoyed the panel if you could make it. We all appreciate you getting up early to attend. Thank you all for your support and friendship. It means a lot to us all!
Next time, the Her Universe Fashion Show!
Love, Kim and Scout
